This photo is a bit of a re-run from my Flickr Valentine's Day, but its significance extends way beyond that one February 14th. When something terrible happens, nothing takes it away, but, I have found, the world does open itself up to you. The people who surround me, nearby and far away, some of them very far away, have held out their arms to my family and I last week. I can only put my heart in my hand and say thank you.

That is such a gorgeous photo.
Amy, you have been in my thoughts so much since I heard the news about your father.
It's so hard to find the right words at a time like this, but I hope you know (and I think you do) that you and your family are in my heart - and my prayers.
So sorry for your loss, Amy! A beautiful heart! Hope your's is okay. I will say a prayer for your healing.

I just discovered you had started blogging Amy and when reading through all your posts I learnt about your father. I want to say again (I have been on flickr as well) how sorry I am for your loss and your heart is wonderful Amy (both of them)!
Thank you everyone, I've been so comforted by all your thoughts and kindness, I can't even fully express how much.
Oh darling I am sorry and am saying a prayer right now. Take care XX
Thank you so much, Madhu! I'm so moved by your caring, it means a lot to me.
