El Anatsui at the Bass

El Anatsui at the Bass Museum, twisted and pieced aluminum discards and elements of consumption transformed into cloth, transformed into sculpture, transformed into metaphors of history, colonialism,
modernity, biography.
And they dazzle, and they dance.

WOW! Amy, those are SO Beautiful! They have a mysterious quality... they drape like fabric... almost gossamer in the first one.... but they are made from trash? They have a quiet feeling to them.... Very Beautiful!
Yes, they do dazzle! I wish I could see them in RL!
Thank you for sharing them here!

You would love them, B. Each exhibit allows the curator to adjust them to the spaces, so they're always a little different.
